Discipleship Programme with the Lifeliners

Since Derek's full time employment with our parish, which started in May, he has been planning training programmes for the various youth groups in our parish. So far, both of us have been running a short discipleship programme for RAY Fellowship, a group of teenagers within the covenant community. We meet once a month for a day's input.


Since the beginning of July, the Lifeliners have been meeting at our place for an 8 week discipleship programme. Last night, we gave an input on healing the images of God and a follow-up session on discipleship. The session was a moving one, as we saw many responded to the invitation of Jesus during the short prayer ministry time.


We are grateful to God that we are able to journey with these young people and to see their openness in responding to the love of God.
