Peter Klak from Heilbronn, Germany, stayed with us for a few days in his 14 day visit here in Sabah. He is one of the thirteen Germans who came for the Sabah-Heilbronn Partnership. www.sabah.org.my/SABAH-HEILBRONN_Partnership/
They left today after being here for their visit which they make every 4 years. In 2 years, a group of Sabahans will visit them instead. This has been happening for the past 20 years. It's great to see the desire to come to know our culture, the way we live and share our faith, both Catholics and Protestants (BCCM).
In the meantime, Derek had the opportunity to climb Mt Kinabalu for the 3rd time in his life! Some pictures of his proud moments with 5 others from the team who took the challenge.
