Many thoughts had come to my mind on running various seminars that could help people to grow in their vocation. One of them is this, the desire to help single people in making a choice of vocation. Being single isn't about waiting for the right partner... As I journeyed with those who are searching for their life partner, I desire that they see life beyond just waiting but a response to the invitation of God in the best way they may express love to Him.
This weekend seminar was attended by 15 participants. Esther travelled from the Philippines to facilitate the seminar. She shared her testimony of her response to the Consecrated Life. It was our first time to hear many of her stories. A blessing to us as her story had encouraged many in responding to the nudge of being consecrated.
Fr Paul shared his story of responding to the priesthood. It was also special to hear his beautiful story of embracing the love of God through responding to his vocation.
Both Derek and I shared for the first time on the vocation of marriage. Love is a sincere gift of self had been our principle, echoing Pope John Paul II.
Lives transformed, seeing the vast possibilities of responding to the love of God.
