Last Tuesday, we signed the papers at the lawyer's and paid the 10% of the house to the seller. Now, we are only waiting for those papers to return as our bank loan has been approved a month ago.
It's almost unbelievable that this is happening. We have just returned to KK about 14 months ago and we are seeing the reality of owning a house.
We bought the apartment that we have been renting for the past year. We decided to buy it since we made a 1 year contract with the landlord. Our contract ends in March. That's when we decided to act on it as soon as possible since we have not found another place that we like better.
So, our decision is to buy this existing apartment. If there is an alternative in the future, we can always sell this property. It is also cheaper to buy it now than later.
We stand in awe of an awesome God who has made the impossible rather easily possible.
Of course, we were not able to come up with the deposit for the house. Derek's parents have so generously helped us in paying for us first... We thank God for his providence in every way!
