"Fearless" Holy Spirit Camp 2010

We are amazed by God at the response of the 150 young people during the weekend in Bundu Tuhan as we facilitated the annual Holy Spirit Camp organised by RAY, the youth of Light of Jesus Christ Covenant Community (LJCCC).

"Fearless" was the theme of the weekend as we encouraged everyone of our identity as children of God, inheriting power and therefore, having the courage to move in His anointing.

Once again, we were blessed to see so many young people experiencing the power of God in many ways. Many shared of their first experience of God's love when prayed with during the Holy Spirit evening.

Similar to last year, we encouraged the leaders of the camp, mostly the youth of the Royal Ambassadors, to minister with us. Many were very moved to see God working through them as they prayed with the participants and shared their testimonies. It's a wonder to see these teenagers experience God's anointing as they prayed for their friends.

Some who were not ready last year, asked if they can be in the prayer teams this time. We were encouraged to see them stepping out in faith and enthusiasm as they took the challenge to witness God's power working through them.

It was our joy to see these teenagers, who literally grew up listening, witnessing and living out the Word of God in their families since their parents are part of LJCCC, moving out to witness their lives. Their growing up years were filled with teasing from friends that they are the "holy holy bunch" similar to how Derek & I experienced it. However, as they shared their stories, their pain of being labelled and observed, many participants were moved by their lives.

Some of the participants drew their journey during the "prayer stations" in the morning. Impressed to see their openness and their reflection on life.

I spoke on our Christian Identity, how we are good, loved and anointed.

Derek continued with "what went wrong"...

He encouraged the youth to have a life of reflection and to identify their filters, on how they see the world around them.

Overjoyed uncle and auntie of the camp. Once again, we are privileged to witness the hand of God through these young people
