Life Time - Tuesday

Another evening of celebrations, as we celebrated Jeanny;s birthday and the many success stories we each experienced throughout the week. We shared on the possibility of the centre being run by "Live the Call".

SAC Support Group 13th May

Today's tool introduced - drawing our situation; practising questioning through images drawn

With just 3 participants, the 6 of us shared this exercise together and discovered much! The questioning was great as it helped open up areas where one has not thought about, given a chance to name and tell the story.

Enjoyed the evening!

LifeTime - Derek is back!

Yes! Derek is back! Back from his pilgrimage to Medjegorje with his parents. They continued their journey to Germany and had good time with friends. Since I have been missing the nice fruit tea we used to enjoy in the evenings when we were living in Germany, I asked him to bring me some...

Sharing these with the Life Centre Team brought much excitement! Each received a rosary from Medjegorje and enjoyed a variety of teas...

My experiment - Tiramisu. So happy everyone enjoyed it!

More talks on the structure of the Life Centre continued... Amazing to see enthusiastic brothers and sisters all longing to see this materialsing.

Jesus, hold this dream close and continue to reveal to us your great plan in our lives!

Visit to Children's Learning Programme for Migrants in Sandakan

Just came back from a week long's visit to Sandakan where the Good Shepherd Welfare Centre has its outreaches to the migrants. It was a moving moment for me to see them learning to write the number "5". It was their fifth lesson. The children ranged between the ages of 5 to 13.

A humble moment to count my blessings for getting education so easily and very grateful for my parents for the opportunities given.

These children's parents work in the palm oil plantation in Sandakan. It would cost them too much to travel anywhere to go to school, if that is permitted at all in our country... So, the Children's Learning Programme (CLP) decided to bring the programme to the plantation. About 30 children came consistently for classes in these past 2 months since it started. The number would be increasing once other parents/children around know about it.

Taking a break... Whoa! Hard work writing a whole page of the number "5"!
