Finding my home in the Father's House - 21st - 23rd November in Fulda

A seminar organised by the Charismatic Renewal of the Fulda Diocese, attended by more than 70 people from the middle and west regions of Germany. Derek & I were invited to assist in this seminar run by Pia Attard who prior to their move to Malta had committed to run 2 weekends of these Inner Healing Seminar within the Charismatic Renewal circle.

Pia shared on many aspects of our human and spiritual developments and needs.

I shared my story on replacing lies with truth; negative statements that were made internalised and had an effect on my life and how I had to apply God's truth to replace those statements.

Derek led the evening ministry session, helping the group to receive the love of God through a time of worship and prayer.

The atmosphere of love and trust in the group was evident and we believe that healing was able to take place within "the body of Christ", making a safe place for each other to make the next step towards God.

This is my last weekend ministry here in Germany. I was happy to see the love and trust of the people towards us and the ICPE mission. We were happy to hear that our teachings and sharings were "sound" and is allign with the teachings of the Catholic Church... Derek will have his last ministry in Germany next weekend as he leads the worship team for the same seminar but this time, for the Nationwide Charismatic Renewal of Germany.

Wholeness in Christ with SOM 10th - 14th November

Derek spent the past few days teaching the participants of the School of Missions on the topic Wholeness in Christ. Well, probably more sharing his life and experiences plus some principles in moving towards wholeness.

Everyone was encouraged to express the gifts and uniqueness of each other. It was amazing to see their eyes shine when receiving the encouragement.

The 10 participants in the School of Missions are in their 6th week of the 4 and a half months school here in Allerheiligen.

Bea's Birthday in White Allerheiligen 30th October

What a start to the year! I found Allerheiligen all white when I woke up in the morning. The contrast of the autumn colours plus the fresh winter snow made Allerheiligen looked amazing!!

Celebrated my birthday with the community, with Pat's famous rich chocolate cake surrounded by friends...

In the evening, the school kitchen team joined me in preparing various types of noodles, chicken porridge and spring rolls. Amused the Asian participants of the school plus the children of the community who always look forward to having spring rolls...

...and clingy Ian, Derek's godson, wants to be at the party too!

Outreach at Marienthal, France 26th - 29th October

A group of more than 70 teenagers preparing for confirmation in our region gathered at Kloster Marienthal during their Autumn school holidays for a youth retreat before their confirmation in November.

Derek & I were invited to work together with the team who has been guiding these teenagers for 6 weeks in preparation for their confirmation.

It was a challenge for most of the people in the team since the teenagers were not very interested in what was shared. Slowly, we could see them getting more and more excited about God as some of us shared our experiences and as they themselves experienced the touch of God when we prayed for them.

On the last evening, we prayed for them individually and many shared of a deeper encounter with God and that something changed in them... It was amazing to see their facial expressions and hear them describing their experience.

Much of the grace that we experienced must have come from the prayers of the nuns in the convent. They have 24hour-adoration and were praying for the young people during our time there. We had a chance to celebrate mass with them and also prayed the Liturgy of the hours in the Bassilica with them, all in French! Their angelic voices were in such harmony...

Indeed, we had a great time there, apart from witnessing many conversions, we also made new friends from the area.

On our way home, Werner brought us to the French/German border and we got over to the German border on a ferry. That was his gift to me on my birthday!

Holidays at Zermatt 11th - 18th October

We spent a week at Zermatt, having some relaxing time together. We planned to go for a holiday to mark our 10th wedding anniversary and chose to go to Zermatt in Switzerland, one of the highest points in Europe where the Matterhorn is located.

Our holidays were made possible by our friend, Beatrice, who owns a few holiday flats in Zermatt.

Derek was totally fascinated by the magnificent view and took many photos during our time there. Here are some shots of the Matterhorn which he took every morning/evening!

We did a lot of walking and climbing... always amazed by the view in different angles.

Grateful to God for his providence through our friend, being among millionaires in one of the World's famous Ski Resorts!

Celebrating 10 years of God's Faithfulness!

10 years ago, on 10th October 1998, we had our wedding here in Allerheiligen. On this beautiful autumn day, we are reminded of God's faithfulness in this journey together.

Throughout the many challenges in the past 10 years, we have experienced much of God's grace.

Some of our friends enjoying a cup of Chrysanthemum tea with us...

Thank you for your prayers, greetings and wishes!

School of Missions 2008/9 - Fix your eyes on Jesus

Today, we had the opening mass for the School of Missions with Bishop Klug presiding the mass. We have 11 participants from 6 different countries. A family from Germany - Michael,Theresa and their daughter Clara, is a fruit of the last school outreach. We met them while on outreach in the parish of Kolbermoor, near Munich.

It marks another beautiful event of seeing God's faithfulness as the participants make themselves available during these 4 months to "fix their eyes on Jesus" and be refreshed by Him. Although we are not directly involved in the school this time, we share the excitement with them, anticipating God's work in their lives in the coming days...

May God's anointing be poured out on all of them as they fix their eyes on Him...
