I went home after 3 weeks while Derek continued on for another 3 weeks. He did his personal retreat in Auckland and returned to Wellington to teach on the school. He taught for 3 mornings on worship and was also the speaker for the monthly Worship Evening.
Derek shares his highlight of his time in New Zealand was when they ended the 30 days to a better self awareness meeting where a group of women gathered to share about their 30 day journey. He saw that the book brought people into deeper reflection than he imagined.
