My trip to Singakawang in Kalimantan, an exposure trip of World Vision Malaysia of their works in Indonesia. Really enjoyed the trip, seeing what has been done with the people in the remote areas of Kalimantan, how awareness is brought to them of the simplest things like drinking clean water, washing hands with soap or the importance of having a proper toilet.
My highlight was my encounter with the staff of World Vision Indonesia or Wahana Visi. They are all fresh graduates, all Christians, decided to give their lives and time to God in their service in their communities. Such amazing stories of moving according to their passion and sharing their capabilities to see that their people will have a better life.
