Marking our 11th wedding anniversary, we gave ourselves a treat of spending quality time with each other at a resort in Kiansom, Kasih Sayang Resort. Well, the name fits the occasion...
On arriving, we found familiar faces... The Lifeliners were checking out the place for their future BGR Conference for next year. We were the speakers for the event this year.
The resort is 2,400m above sea level and has cool and fresh air, with a splendid view of the city.
We went for a walk along the main road of the area and found a view point overlooking the whole city on a higher level than what we could see from the resort.
One of our rituals... watching the beautiful sunset together from the balcony of our room.
Amazing to see the silhouette of the islands and the various parts of the city.
The evening was cool and breezy. It must have been about 18 deg C, as we sat outside in the restaurant.
Enjoying Nasi Goreng Kampung Style... which has become Derek's favourite over the weekend. Needless to say, it must have been the chicken wings that attracted him to the dish!
We had a marvelous weekend, savouring the beauty of God's creation and enjoying each other...
