Holidays at the Hubers 7th - 20th September

Our friends Anja & Elmar recently moved into their new house near Landsberg, about 30km from Augsburg. We thought of blessing them by helping them out with the move. Derek was painting and rebuilding shelves while I took care of the children when Anja was sorting things out.

Our 2 weeks with them was a blessed filled time, having much fun with their 3 children - Katharina, Raphael and Josua. Josua is my godson and it was great to have spent some time to get to know him...

We celebrated many events together... Katharina's 1st school day, Raphael's 1st day in Kindergarten, Anja's mum's birthday... Wonderful to have seen the joyful atmosphere in the family, celebrating every event in honour of each other.

We ended our trip with an outreach to a youth group in Biburg. About 40 youths attended the weekly prayer meeting. Derek shared about "Choices" before the worship and we also made ourselves available to pray for those who came for prayer with their specific requests. In short, we were very impressed by the group, a family atmosphere with good attitude towards one another and a big heart to know Jesus.
